Triple-action twist-lock carabiners require three separate actions to open. The worker must first slide the sleeve, then rotate the sleeve before drawing the lock inward. The carabiner locks automatically when released to ensure that it's ready for use. Fall-rated carabiners are used as part of a personal fall protection system to connect lanyards/SRLs to harnesses or anchor points.
