The Scotch-Brite™ 7447 PRO Hand Pad offers a unique blend of flexibility and cutting efficiency, providing precise control for tough cleaning tasks or achieving fine finishing results repeatedly. The pad features tightly graded abrasive particles that ensure a consistent, uniform scratch pattern throughout its lifespan.

Ideal for a variety of materials and applications, the Scotch-Brite™ Hand Pad 7447 PRO combines effective cutting action with flexibility and hand control for reliable, fine finishing results. The pad contains tightly graded aluminum oxide abrasives that leave smooth finishes on wood, metal, plastics, ceramics, porcelain, glass, rubber, and composites. Comparable to grade 0 steel wool, it won’t rust or produce fine metal splinters after use. The non-woven, open-web design resists loading, allowing for dry use, use with water or solvents, and easy rinsing for reuse.

This maroon hand pad fits comfortably in the hand for precision tasks and can be used with a hand pad block for uniform finishing or with an in-line sander for larger areas. Its fine-grade aluminum oxide abrasives offer a fast cutting action, favored by industry professionals. The durable abrasives self-fracture during use, continuously presenting fresh cutting edges, unlike traditional abrasives like garnet, which wear down quickly. Aluminum oxide is renowned for its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention, making it suitable for a wide range of woodworking and metalworking applications, including on ferrous alloys.
