Each unit within the FSP-951R line occupies a unique address on the NOTIFIER Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), with the total number of detectors determined by the control panel's capacity. They actively communicate with the control panel, conveying their specific status and type. Upon receiving a test signal from the panel or during a manual magnet test, the detectors activate their internal mechanisms to simulate an alarm condition. Their LED lights flicker in response to routine checks and remain lit when an alarm is triggered, as directed by the panel.
