These ratchet adapters can be added to a nonratcheting breaker bar and convert it to a ratcheting breaker bar. They have a mechanism that allows the bar to rotate freely in one direction without removing the socket from the fastener and repositioning the tool. Adapters eliminate the need to keep an extra ratcheting breaker bar on hand.
