Product Description
The Notifier LEM-320 Loop Expander Module is a plug-in expansion module that adds a second Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) to compatible Notifier ONYX Series fire alarm control panels. When installed in the NFS-640 or NFS2-640, the module expands the system from one to two SLC loops. For the NFS-3030 and NFS2-3030, each LCM-320 Loop Control Module supports one LEM-320, allowing the control panel to expand to a maximum of ten SLC loops using five LCM-320 modules and five LEM-320 modules.
Each SLC loop supports wiring distances of up to 12,500 feet (3,810 m) when using 12 AWG twisted unshielded pair cable in a Class B (Style 4) configuration. The LEM-320 has a maximum current draw of 100 mA and features built-in degraded mode operation to improve system survivability if the loop becomes compromised. Installation is quick and simple, as the module plugs directly into the control panel chassis without requiring additional mounting hardware.
