The STANLEY® Compo-Cast® soft-face sledge hammer is a nonsparking hammer—no exposed metal on face, head, or shaft. Uni-Cast™ construction of nonferrous materials eliminates sparking and won't absorb liquids. Dead blow function eliminates any bounce back when striking hard surfaces. Steel-reinforced handle provides strength and resists breaking. Urethane covering helps reduce noise.
