The FRM-1 Addressable Relay Module offers a dry-contact output to trigger a range of auxiliary devices like fans, dampers, and control systems. Its addressable nature allows for selective activation of the dry contact, either manually or via panel programming. FlashScan®, a communication protocol patented under U.S. Patent 5,539,389 by NOTIFIER Engineering, significantly boosts communication speeds among analog intelligent devices. These devices communicate as a group, and if any device has new information, the control panel CPU prioritizes that device. This results in a response speed that is more than five times faster than traditional methods.

Powered by the two-wire SLC loop, with internal circuitry and relay; the FCM-1(A) module requires additional power for horns, strobes, etc., or audio for speakers.
An integral LED blinks green for each communication received from the control panel and turns steady red upon activation.
Option to globally deselect the LED blink feature, affecting all devices.

The FCM-1(A) is capable of switching 24-volt NAC power and audio (up to 70.7 Vrms).
