Chemical Reaction and Color Change
Reaction of carbon dioxide with hydrazine. Change of pH-value indicated by color change of acidbase-indicator.
Color change: White → Violet.
Influence of Temperature
Detector tubes can be used between 0 °C and 40 °C (32 °F and 104 °F) and up to 90 % rh (46 g/m3 at 40 °C [104 °F])
Interferences and Cross Sensitivities
a) No interference from:
hydrogen, methane, ethane, propane, carbon monoxide, mineralic oil (vapor and mist)
