Open end wrenches can come with different opening angles on each end for access to fasteners in tight spaces. They have a wrench head on each end and can access to fasteners from the top and side compared to box wrenches that can only access a fastener from the top. These double end wrenches are SAE (inch) size and can have a different size on each end so that each wrench can be used for two different size fasteners.
