These offset open end spud wrenches have an SAE (inch) size open end that is offset for access to fasteners in tight spaces. The open end can access fasteners from the top and side compared to a box-end wrench that can only access fasteners from the top. The opposite end has a tapered spike at the handle end that’s used to align bolt holes.
